Monday blahs...
When Mondays roll around, I'm exhausted. I work on weekends, so it's hard to get in the swing of things again on Monday. So I tend to be a little slower and lazier at things. I look at the house and know that I need to clean. But I have no motivation. I think of things that need to be done. But I just can't get motivated. And on top of it, my brother's school had a 2 hour delay. So that makes me almost have a 2 hour delay. LOL So, I am telling myself that when Caleb is taking his nap I need to clean! Let's hope it gets done! Because tonight I have to wrap the presents I have so far, I don't want to do them all at once! And I have to type up our Christmas letter and get our cards together to send out. So much to do with no motivation! How fun!!! Have a great Monday!! =)

I believe...
I found this in our local paper last night. And I just like it and it made me think...so I thought I would share on here. (Plus I wanted to archive it somehow before I threw the paper away!) So here goes...
I believe...
A birth certificate shows we were born. A death certificate shows that we died. Pictures show that we lived!
I believe...
that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do love each other.
I believe...
that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
I believe...
that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I believe...
that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I believe...
that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I believe...
that you can keep going long after you think you can't.
I believe...
that we are repsonsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I believe...
that either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I believe...
that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it need to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I believe...
that money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I believe...
that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you back up.
I believe...
that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.
I believe...
that it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others, sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
I believe...
that no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world does not stop for your grief.
I believe...
that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but, we are responsible for who we become.
I believe...
that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.
I believe...
that even when you think you have more to give, when a friend cries out for you - you will find strength to help...
I believe...
that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I believe...
that the people you care about most in your life are taken from you too soon.

What a morning!
So Caleb decided to wake up at 5:30am this morning...lovely. Jonah ended up in our bed sometime between 4 and 5am. Erich has to get to work by 6:30am so he usually gets up around 6am, so it wasn't real early for him to get up, I needed to get milk so I decided Erich should get up with Caleb and I would run to the store. So I went and got Caleb out of the crib, and brought him into our room so Erich could take him, but I woke Jonah up in the process! So the whole family was up before 6am. I went on to go to the store to pick up some milk, Erich told me to take the car so it would be warmed up for him to go to work. So I did. Went and got my things and went out to start the car to go home and bam..the car won't start. Won't turn over, no lights, nothing. Batteries dead. Had to call Erich to let him know the car won't start and he would have to either bundle up the kids or wake up my brother to have him watch them for a minute. (My brother is not the easiest person to wake up) So he woke Joey up and came to my rescue. All he did was jiggle the wires on the battery and it started right up. So we made it home in time for him to change his pants and get off to work and he wasn't even late!! It was an eventful morning to say the least. With that said...we have our car sitting in the driveway with a bum battery. So he gets to fix that tonight when he gets off of work! Lucky him! Now...lets see how the kids are today with getting up so early! Should be an eventful rest of the day too!!

Such a lazy day....
On Tuesday night I drove the Cities to go to the New Kids on the Block concert at the Xcel Energy Center. It was a blast! And it was nice to have the feeling of a 12 year old again. I went with my cousins Kassia, Alina and Kristy. And our friend Lori and her friend Chelsea also came along. It was a nice "break" to get away. Although I missed my boys a TON by the time Wednesday rolled around. It was a little weird to have a "break" in the middle of the week however. Now my days are all messed up! I woke up today thinking it was Monday. And it's tough getting in the swing of things. But I am going to have a lazy day today (since the weather is so dreary and makes you want to lay in bed all day and doesn't get you motivated at all!!) and work on organizing my scrapbooking supplies. I bought so much stuff lately I don't know what I have anymore. If anyone out there has any ideas for organizing your stuff could you let me know what you do? I travel with all my stuff to a friends house almost every Friday and I hate making all the trips back and forth to the truck and back! So I'm going to work on "lightening" my load. Have a great Thursday!! And be thankful that it's not Monday, like I thought it was!! =)

The joy's of a clean "blankie"
Did you ever have a "blankie" when you were little? I did. And I remember I loved getting my blanket washed. I remember sitting by the dryer waiting for it to be done. I loved the feeling of it nice and warm and smelling fresh! I just took my boys' blankies out of the dryer after washing them since I don't know when. And it's funny to watch their faces light up, like it's their first time getting them! Jonah doesn't really like it when I wash his, but he's gotten better now that he is older because he likes to put it in the washer himself. He thinks he's a helper! It's fun watching them get so excited about little things! And I'm happy I get to wash them once in a while, because it can be kind of embarassing lugging those dirty things around, but I can't blame them, I was there once!
Starting again...
So I started this blog a few months ago and never got around to really starting it. I'm going to try my best to keep up this time!! I have a few friends that have blogs and thought it was a good idea. Since I am a stay at home mom, and I would like to get connected with other mom's for advice, venting, tips, etc. But I am new to this and it's a little overwhelming..so bear with me!! :)

Getting Started..
Well. I finally entered the world of blogging. My friends Clare and Missie have blogs, so I thought I would give it a try. Since we live away from some friends and family, I thought it would be a good way for them to see what was going on out here in our crazy and busy life. So I hope you enjoy!! :)
